I don't get to see her all sprawled out like this very much anymore- she usually requires the Swaddle to stay asleep... but doesn't she look cute when she does this?


Went to visit Daddy at work last night... Carolyn wanted to wear a matching outfit- everyone got a kick out of it! :)


Please note the Curls! I put gel in her hair last night and the curls stayed! :)

 

More attempts to be artistic... :) Not exactly my forte... but how can you fail when you have such a beautiful subject! :)

She's getting ready to start smiling! I just know it- she's been practicing in her sleep. :)

Excuse me- I have a question!

Dressing rooms- not just for trying on clothes- also excellent places for snacks and diaper changes! Now she's all clean- note especially the beautiful sundress- a special gift from friends at church. :) 

Carolyn is beginnign to enjoy bathtime. We enjoy it too! Who wouldn't, with all those precious little rolls she has all over her chubby little body. We love our little dumpling!


I love being a mommy! :) I get to have so many precious moments with my little girl! Most of them never make it to the camera, though.


Frequently, Carolyn is disinclined to awaken after a feeding... doesn't seem to quite get the concept of "awake time" just yet. Well, at least not awake time that isn't also screaming time.

Carolyn's second shopping trip- she enjoyed a pleasant nap in her stroller (what time someone wasn't holding her) while Mom and I shopped. 

Our DFG (destined for greatness) daughter! Yesterday, she reached out and grabbed one of the legs of her dangling giraffe and tried to pull it down- she held onto it long enough for me snap this picture of her! Amazing!


Very excited about her accomplishment! :) 

Carolyn was in the mood to have some pictures taken this morning... :) She's starting to make so many different faces and new noises! Can't capture the happy shrieky noise she was making, nor even do justice to the cute faces she was making today, but she was looking at me like she really wanted to smile at me, but just wasn't sure how. :) Her eyes were smily.




 

Our first time to church! Carolyn was the most beautiful person there, all dressed up in her pink dress- everyone in our Sunday School class was delighted to see her! We spoke to our pastor about dedicating her in an upcoming service- we'll keep you posted in case any of you want to travel out to GR for the occasion. Probably it will be sometime next month.


Enjoying a story with Daddy as part of our valient attempt to keep Miss Carolyn awake! Chandra may recognize the story of Yellow and Stripe as a gift she gave me when I was in her wedding. :)


Carolyn discovers herself in the mirror! Despite her fussy state of mind, she sat for many minutes tonight just staring at herself. Funny, we spend much of our time doing the same thing! (staring at her! :))

 

Wakeup time! I love the way she looks when I wake her up to feed her! It's so hard to capture in a picture, but she's so cute when she stretches out and slowly comes into consciousness...




 

Carolyn let Daddy do her hair this morning...


She's not sure what to think about the style he's chosen...


She's pretty sure it would look better with a bow.
 

Carolyn had her first "real" bath today. Doesn't she look cute in her little bunny towel?


After bathtime, she shared some special Naked Baby time with Daddy. Already she is growing so much more expressive!
