Swimming Lessons... Almost!

So last night we went to the Y for our first swimming lesson (we had to miss last week because Carolyn still had the flu) only to find that due to lightning in the area, we would be having a "safety demonstration" instead. You can imagine how thrilled we were about that! I don't think anybody got much out of it except some time to be together (and that, of course, is something)- it was a little maddening to sit by the side of the pool in the hot, humid room and have to restrain our children (and ourselves!) from jumping in the water! We're hoping that next week we'll be able to get in the water since we only have four lessons left!! Still we got a few cute pictures of the kids in their suits.Mommy!!! Get this thing OFF!! I hate it!
Carolyn didn't think much of the life jacket demonstration, but Rachel was pretty content to kick back and relax. :)
She was much happier in the little ruffly bathing suit Mrs. McGuan gave her. :)
Sharing toys with Aidan.
Carolyn, Caimon, Aidan, and Rachel all wishing they could get in the pool!
I think the best part for Carolyn was giving Daddy crawling lessons pool-side. :)
