She's been smiling more and more every day, and we're finally starting to be able to convince her to smile in the presence of the camera! Here Daddy is making faces at Carolyn while Aunt Carolyn is snapping pictures.

Now Daddy takes the pictures while Carolyn melts my heart with some of her sweetest little smiles. :)
As a side note, Carolyn laughed for the first time today! Brad was getting her ready for the bath and tickling her when "hee hee hee- squeak!" came out of her mouth! The first laugh! I was bummed that I missed it, but am sure that more giggles are on the way. I'm reminded of a notable quote.

"When the first baby laughed for the first time, the laugh broke into a thousand pieces and they all went skipping about. That was the beginning of fairies."
