We visited Washington DC with our friends Steve and Carolyn. We arrived Friday afternoon. After lunch in the car for the little girls, the "big people" headed into Union Station for lunch.
Little Carolyn wanted to take a snooze in her stroller and show everyone her cute patriotic outfit (those who have been following us for awhile might recognize it from July 4, though she looks quite different in it now! I was surprised it still fit at all!)

When we finished at Union Station, we went to the apartment where we were able to stay for FREE, thanks to some well-connected cousins of Steve's. The apartment was right across the street from the Library of Congress, about a 1/4 mile from the nearest Metro station, and close to all the interesting things to see and do in Washington (and did I mention it was FREE!) It was such a blessing to have a place so near everything to crash with the little ones. Posted by Picasa
