It's been awhile since I've posted pictures of Carolyn and her Animals- but allow me to assure you that her delight in them has only grown. :) It's been fun to watch her change from the picture below the first time we got them out....
To these pictures taken this weekend while Daddy watched Carolyn and Mommy went back to work. She almost doesn't even look like the same child! Her eyes are so much more awake and aware and she is so much more intentional with her motions than she was as a newborn. Now Carolyn can really grab onto the hanging toys and make lots of noise kicking them with her legs. This morning she just tickled herself into little giggles at the sound she made by kicking her blue elephant. I love to watch her learn what it's like to be really happy and to be delighted in the things around her.
